| Cos'è l'UE per te? Crea un video in 60 secondi e vinci al Waaris Award |
|
Waaris.eu stands for whereis.eu. Presented by the Pascal Decroos Fund, Journalismfund.eu, the Flemish Dissertation Award, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KASK) and the International Film Festival of Flanders in Ghent, the Waaris.eu is an online competition that challenges everybody to make a movie of 60 seconds about the European Union.
What does the EU mean to you? What impact does it have on your daily life? And maybe your one-minute movie will appear on the International Film Festival of Flanders in Ghent! You win your share of the € 2500 prize money! Or you get a digital FLIP camera! Be inspired by the sites’ ten demo videos and submit your entry before the 31st of August 2010. You can then vote for your favorites until the 17th of October 2010, which will determine the winner of the audience award. A professional jury will honour the jury award. Both winners receive a mini HD FLIP camera. The filmmaker of the jury award wins € 1500. The public award is worth € 1000. The award ceremony will takes place at the International Film Festival of Flanders in Ghent. Everybody can take part to this competition! As this initiative is mainly funded by the Flemish government, the main language of the website is Dutch, but all languages can be used in your one-minute video.
